The Hudson County Improvement Authority (the “Authority”) hereby issues a Request For Qualifications: Special Counsel – Employment Law (the “RFQ”) with statements of qualifications by applicants for engagement to provide such services:

Notice is hereby given that a telephonic public hearing, as required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”), will be held by the Hudson County Improvement Authority (the “Authority”) on March 3, 2026 for the purpose of providing a reasonable opportunity for interested persons to express their views both orally and in writing on the proposed issuance by the Authority of Charter School Revenue Bonds (Canal Crossing Charter School Campus Project), Series 2026 in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $240,000,000 (the “Bonds”). The hearing will commence at 9:30 a.m. EST, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard and will be held via toll free telephonic means accessible to the general public as described below.
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution entitled:
“BOND RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HUDSON COUNTY IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY TO ISSUE NOT TO EXCEED $240,000,000 CHARTER SCHOOL REVENUE BONDS (CANAL CROSSING CHARTER SCHOOL CAMPUS PROJECT) SERIES 2026 AND DETERMINING OTHER MATTERS RELATED THERETO”
was adopted by the Hudson County Improvement Authority (the “Authority”) on February 11, 2026 for the issuance of not to exceed $240,000,000 Charter School Revenue Bonds (Canal Crossing Charter School Campus Project) Series 2026; that copies of such resolution has been filed with and is available for public inspection in the office of the Authority at 830 Bergen Avenue, 9th Floor, Jersey City, New Jersey 07306 and in the office of the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners in the County of Hudson, New Jersey, at the Administration Building Annex, 567 Pavonia Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey 07306 and that any action or proceeding of any kind or nature in any court questioning the validity of the creation and establishment of the Authority, or the validity or proper authorization of bonds provided for by such resolution, or the validity of any covenants, agreements or contracts provided for by such resolution must be commenced within twenty (20) days after the first publication of this Notice.

At the February 11, 2026, Regularly Scheduled Meeting the HUDSON COUNTY IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY in the County of Hudson, State of New Jersey has awarded a Contract by fair and open process for professional services pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 and N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5, et seq.
The Contract and the Resolution authorizing are on file and available for public inspection in the Offices of the Clerk of the County Commissioners and in the Office of this Authority between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
